Since 1954, we have held to the belief that the mission of the Church is the Evangelization of the World and the Edification of the Saints.

Our Mission

At Community Baptist Church, we believe that Salvation is a gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in our Lord Jesus Christ alone.  The moment we trust Him as our Savior we pass from spiritual death, which is separation from God, into everlasting life.

Many churches today would have you believe that God is ‘out there’, watching from a distance, or that He is an impersonal ‘force’ found in everything we can touch and feel. We believe, however, that God is a personal God, desiring a relationship with each and every one of us, regardless of who we are or where we come from.

I’ve been to many churches over many years, and I’ve never felt more love and acceptance than I do at Community Baptist Church

The Church

  • We believe the Church is a spiritual organization made up of all born again persons.

  • We believe the Church is made up of many members, all serving different functions and abilities.

We believe the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament scriptures.

There is no question what we will get when we come to Community Baptist Church. The unfiltered Gospel Message, and the exposition of God’s inerrant Word from Genesis to Revelation.

Statement of Faith

We believe that, all scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

We believe in one triune God eternally existing in three Persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, co-equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections.

We believe our redemption has been accomplished by Christ's literal death, burial, and resurrection. He currently is at the right hand of the Father interceding on behalf of the saints.

We believe the Holy Spirit is a person who convicts the world of sin, or righteousness, and of judgement.  He is the supernatural agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the Body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption.
