Associate Pastor

Aaron Cavanaugh

God's mercy transformed Aaron's heart in childhood. His preparation for Christian life and ministry started with training at Bethany Christian School in Troy, MI, followed by undergraduate work at Bob Jones University and a Master of Divinity from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. Having served in several pastoral internships he joined the leadership team of The Cross Bible Church as a lay elder in 2022.

With a heart for expositional preaching, encouragement and counseling, he finds great joy in shepherding by life-on-life discipleship, starting with his first ministry--the hearts of his wife and six children, to the men's ministry and marriages and families. Bible drama, DIY projects, soccer coaching, and shooting illustrate some current means of building joyful kingdom relationships and training up the next generation.
